Entry to both the Advanced Diploma
of Multimedia (Interactive
Media and Games Development streams) and the Certificate
IV in Multimedia is through VTAC and interview/folio presentation.

Full-time applicants need to apply through VTAC. Part-time applicants will apply
directly to the Department of Visual Art, Design and Multimedia.

Department will advise applicants about interviews. All applicants are interviewed.
About the interview and folio presentation
You will be selected on the basis of an interview and the presentation
of a folio of your work. This folio should demonstrate your creative
and technical skills, as well as the strength of your ideas.
In your interview you will demonstrate your understanding of
the multimedia field, your ability to work independently and
your ability to solve problems in a creative way.
Choose a selection of no more than 20 pieces which may include.
- Video/Film on CDROM/DVD/video cassette
- Interactive digital media on CDROM/DVD/Websites
- Sound
- Photography
- Digital designs
- Painting
- Sculpture
- Drawing/Illustration
Digital work may be PC or Mac formatted using common file types.
When do classes commence?
Term begins from the second week in February.
