Attendance.
• If students attend less than 80% of classes appropriate training cannot be delivered to achieve competency and it is unlikely that students will be able to meet the requirements for that module.
• Attendance is recorded in the roll and late arrival or early departure is noted.

Moderation
• All assessment is moderated. The Multimedia Program has processes in place to ensure no submissions from students are graded in isolation by a single teacher.

Assessment Requirements
• On commencement of each module undertaken, you will be informed of the assessment requirements for that module.
• To successfully complete a module, assessment requirements must be achieved to a Pass (50%) grade or higher.
• A grade of 50% or higher must be achieved in all modules undertaken.
• Some modules are prerequisites to further studies, and a Fail grade (less than 50%) may prevent further study in related subject areas.

Assignment/work grades
• Work must be handed in by the given deadline.
• You will receive feedback on work graded.

Late work
• Work submitted after a given deadline will be marked as an ungraded pass or fail.
• Assessment for some subjects is based on the completion of a final project and submission of developmental work throughout semester. In order to ensure full assessment for your completed project you should submit all developmental work as required in the brief.

Extension of time for submission of work
• If for reason of illness or other serious cause, you believe you have a valid reason to be granted an extension on a deadline, you must notify the teacher of that module at least five working days before the deadline.
• These circumstances do not include disk errors, computer crashes etc. You should ALWAYS have at least one backup of all work on cd or dvd.

Review of Assessment
• Disputes regarding assessment will be addressed in a formal review process.
• You must contact the Program Manager to lodge a claim for a formal review.
• Disputes will be reviewed by a panel of staff and you will be informed of the outcome.
